This is what people don't understand. If you live a US suburban lifestyle, the level 2 charger is a quality of life convenience but not required (let alone using public DC fast charging).

I have driven electric for over a year now and have done 90% of my charging overnight in my garage using cheap off-peak electricity, from a regular outlet. For the other 10% I spent essentially zero on public charging due to a charge credit package that came with the car lease.
