Data sent by vehicles and companion apps included locations, VINs, and other identifiers. Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft were among the top receivers of driver data.

Because their $8k snap-on scantool and AllData subscription doesn't plug into it anymore. That's just them being lazy and/or not having the time to find old service manuals
