It doesn't have to be a good movie to be true... personally I think it's more than fine for a Sonic movie.

320 million, 400 mil and then almost 500 shows that people are watching and staying for the next too.

    Yeah, I think that first movie was a decent movie that happened to have Sonic in it. Then the sequels slowly started to become Sonic movies. The third movie is the best of the three because it leans into the Sonic elements and moves away from the cliche "talking animal in real world" tropes that the first movie relied on and the second movie took way too far.

    You know, I never thought about it, but you're right. In the third movie, literally no one is asking why there are anthropomorphic animals that look like they jumped right out of a cartoon; even in the flashback scenes that take place pre-Sonic's arrival to Earth. It really does help make it feel like it "should" be happening if that makes sense.

    Plus the third one was absolutely just fan service for people who grew up on Sonic Adventure 2, but it worked so well imo. Hearing Live & Learn during that final battle was fucking awesome. And Agent Stone is probably the best new Sonic character since Shadow.
