I'm also a cyclist and driver. I can't count how many times I've seen cyclists blatantly ignore stop lights, stop signs, and generally any other traffic law they want. It makes me scream in my car. They're making cycling less safe for me by lowering public trust. Absolutely mental.

But generally once someone starts dressing in lycra, they stop being a reasonable person. I will always cycle in street clothes.

Do you wear a suit to the gym as well?

I'd be cooler if you saw middle aged dudes in lycra as fellow cyclists who just do it a bit differently than you, rather than an outgroup to hate on behalf of someone else's entitled interests.
