Compact SUVs like those discussed in the article are fine. It's the full size SUVs like the suburban or Yukon that are the problem. The fully electric bZ weighs between 4000-4400lbs, where an ICE Suburban is almost 6000lbs, sits much higher up making it harder to see the ground around you, is 8 inches wider than the bZ (81.1 vs 73.2), taking up more road space/bike lane space.
