It goes without saying that the ACP isn’t remotely communist or socialist whatsoever.

This kind of begs the question: why did they even bother with the communist branding in the first place? Why not just commit to the alternative right? It doesn’t make much sense to me.

Maybe they took inspiration from the CPK/NSDAP’s strategy of LARPing as socialists for the popular support, but it’s not like communism/socialism are exactly popular in the US.

Or have the proletarian heroes at the ACP managed to gaslit themselves into actually, fully and earnestly believing themselves to be communists?
