Europe does not invest much into technology; Europeans in general don't like technology. Let the Europeans be good humanist progressives, and leave them alone. They are not in a rat race for dominance.

    We invest shitloads, we invent shitloads. The problem is you don't hear about it because it's bought up by US tech companies to be announced as one of their new products. Ask Americans who invented many of the key milestone technologies and they'll reply with a list of Americans. They're then shocked when they found out that those Americans are actually only the ones who patented it first and that it was first invented in Europe.
