The American dream narrative makes people falsely believe that they too can eventually become an aristocrat such that, against their own interests, they fail to stand in solidarity to hold them accountable.

    Step one, don't let people think. What are the chances of me becoming dont-need-to-work-a-day-more-in-my-entire-life rich, given zero relatives at that level of wealth and any country of residence? Practically zero, unless I am something exceptional

    I have no idea how it happens that so many fail to see even that
