PS: The point here is NOT that poor people shouldn't have kids, it's that no one should be having kids without having the basics of childcare covered, which necessitates widespread systemic, societal, and economic change so that no parent needs to worry about those basics, and kids can grow up in secure, healthy environments. I completely forgot to mention this when I originally posted it, and that's my bad.

Im never having kids because I cant afford them, sure, but that doesn't mean you ought to have to pay to live, if the world were different I'd have children in a heartbeat

the op argument is a pathway to eugenics, child removal, and punishing people for living

also the doctor who did my vasectomy literally said if you have kids, you tend to figure it out as he completed the procedure lol

    Yep families have figured it out since the beginning of time. Unlike the younger people today who think anyone born before them had life handed to them. Throughout history most people have lived subsistence lives.
