    I don't understand. My remark was about cats... ;)

    A slightly off topic and more serious remark about displays: I don't doubt your experience. I heard that the situation got better. Still the higher power consumption is a factor for me.

    My pixel 9a started developing noticeable burn in within 6 months.

    TBF, I have yet to see a phone implement burn-in protection features. They're designed to be replaced within 2-3 years because phone manufacturers are greedy assholes.

    (FWIW I left some of the burn-in protection turned on on my TV, just turned the annoying pixel dimming stuff off.)
