▲ 23 ▼ Music Player w/ Playlist Sync? (lemmy.dbzer0.com) submitted 3 days ago by soyslurper2@lemmy.dbzer0.com to c/opensource@lemmy.ml 10 comments fedilink hide all child comments All of the music players I've tried let you import or export .m3u playlists, but none of them automatically scan a folder for playlists nor update the .m3u realtime. I'm trying to sync playlists between my laptop and phone.

Specifically, if you want to do things like sync playlists and listen stats between different devices (e.g. Android, iOS, Windows, macOS), you want a dumb client that connects to a server that handles all that. I do it on Plex but Navidrome looks awesome. permalink fedilink source parent [–] soyslurper2@lemmy.dbzer0.com [S] 1 point 2 days ago (1 child) Seems this is the best option. Getting it set up now.
