Painted by Robert Stromberg. Part of it was used in a brief scene in DS9 S03E04 "Equilibrium". I took it from here: https://www.thetrekcollective.com/2021/06/heritage-auctions-offer-up-stunning.html

I mean DS9 and VOY were shot on film and edited/finished on Beta, just like TNG was. The same restoration processes could be used for them too if they were sure they’d make up for it in sales.

EDIT: Several BTS shots starting here showing the Panavision cameras used (though you can also just tell from the tonal range of the images in the show, there's no video camera that was capturing that in the 90's).

Ah, I think I mixed up my details, then. Thanks for the correction. Yes, I think it's because all the effects, etc., were done on video that makes remastering a very expensive project, a project which Paramount learned does not pay for itself, though Paramount's greed has definitely pushed more than one person into piracy. DS9 is selling for close to $100 for the DVD set on Amazon right now, so I doubt they'd be able to set a price for a remaster that would sell even if physical media weren't a shrinking market.
