My family did a Christmas card design contests and for some reason I really cared about and put a lot of effort just to find out in Christmas Eve is it was fixed so my two 7 yo cousins won since the beginning and everyone but me knew about it. Everyone on my family got a big laugh on me and therly were like dude you're 17, you don't even participate on birthdays and suddenly you care? I was really piss and didn't talk to anyone in the New years party. One of my aunt's took pity of me and made my 7yo cousins made a card to me saying that they share the design price with me. I found that cute and let it be. Nowadays it brings a smile when I remember that because for real, I was the last person on the family to show any interest in anything, so I get it was a surprise for everyone that I cared.
