I'd love to. I haven't been able to afford a seasonal or any other vaccination since getting laid off/ losing health coverage. Out of pocket they're just too expensive. Make them free and I'll happily get all of them.

    Do they somehow cost more than 2-3 days worth of pay where you live?

    Also, I understand that being poor can be very expensive. If you're on this end of the financial spectrum, there are often programs and discounts that can help, especially if you talk to the pharmacist (where I have gone before to get cheap flu shots when I didn't have insurance).

    were I employed 2-3 days pay wouldn't be inaccurate. i paid out of pocket for the flu shot a couple years ago and i think that was close to $200. i've looked for discounts in the past. there was a program for the covid booster a while back, but it's no longer a thing.
