The real move is con icting them for the theft and pain and suffering they caused necessary to accumulate that much wealth. Them and all the people that facilitated it, which still isn't that many people.
Seize all their wealth, and due to the scale of people they hurt accumulating that wealth, it's all gonna be life sentences.
If it's over in an instant the lesson is forgotten quickly.
Throw them in gen pop federal prison with no resources to protect them, and let them rot. That's a bigger deterrent, and literally the only time sentencing deters crimes is when the criminal already has enough they don't need to steal.
We need to make it so no millionaire would ever dream of stepping into a grey area, and when they do, we make an example.
