It's amazing how many businesses are operated like that. There was an old school arcade near me and it closed down a few years ago because it wasn't making money, but that was largely their fault, it didn't advertise itself properly, didn't sell food or drinks (apparently to protect the machines, which I get, but also at the same time it's also incredibly dumb) and was only open normal business hours rather than after schools and on weekends.

It got to the point where I was starting to look at taking out a loan from the banks so I could buy the idiot out, because the basic idea was actually great. Then covid happened and that was the end of that.

    Wait, they tried to run on just the cost of the machines?!

    Wow is there a word for being business blind? That is like not selling smokes or scratch tickets at a gas station.
