Sadly Jackie has betrayed the people of Hong Kong. In 2009 he stated "I'm not sure if it's good to have freedom or not.". He also said he was "beginning to feel that we Chinese need to be controlled."

When it's financially beneficial to support the current regime, it's normal to have celebrities singing the same tune, more so for the one that will prosecute for speaking out.
