I know of a not insignificant number of them that have been raising alarms for basically decades now. The problem is that if anyone ever gives them the stage, it's so that they can be dismissed, insulted, and condescendingly talked over by someone paid by the guy who owns the stage.

Now, if we are talking about the economists hired by the stage owner, they can get fucked and get no sympathy from me.
