Minimum wage isn't $15 an hour.

    Rent isn't $1200/mo either.

All of these numbers are years out of date

It’s higher than $15 in most places

Only five states have minimum wage above 15. Only 8 total are at 15 or higher. According to this: https://wagebystate.com/minimum-wage/

And most major metro areas have their own minimum wage separate from the state.

    Jesus, just stop typing.

You're been wrong at every turn because you're the shining example the embodiment of the dunning-kruger effect. So confidently incorrect even with literal research at your fingertips that you refuse to use.

    It's embarrassing.

Listen, I don’t give a fuck about what the rural hicks make. Where most people live, in cities, the minimum wage is significantly higher.

Further, virtually nobody makes minimum wage anyway. Fewer than 1%.

Actually, the financial system that oppresses people is totally great, and it's not even that oppressive anyway! Only a few thousand people die from it every year, and that's completely acceptable from my perspective because I'm not in that situation.

Are you proud of your arguments here? Do they make you feel like a valuable person? Does this genre of viewpoint make your friends and family happy to have you around? Just a few questions for you to entertain because you seem content that others are miserable.

You couldn't be more wrong. I make less than I made 25 years ago, and I'm not even close to minimum. Jobs around me mostly hire at $11-12. Maybe $16 if you're a welder or something.

    McDonalds isn't the minimum.
McDonalds starts higher than the minimum, because even they know the minimum is too low.

McDonald’s is literally right at the bottom. “Doesn’t even compete with fast food” is a bar in hell.

    It is indeed
And the minimum is still even lower than that

    Sorry I was actually wrong.

McDonald’s starts at $19.29. Because that’s the minimum wage where I am.

Yah. That's what we keep telling you.
McDonalds pays more than the minimum wage.
You're the one who keeps saying McDonalds IS the minimum.

I’m saying I have never ever in my life see anyone pay less than McDonald’s, you illiterate fuck.

McDonald’s is the minimum because people would just work at McDonald’s than anywhere else paying less.

    Oh!....
That's even dumber than I thought.
McDonald's is the easiest, lowest skill job you can think of.

I don't know if you're overestimating other jobs, or underestimating McDonald's. Either way, you may be the most privileged and least imaginative person I've encountered. Congrats!

My first job was McDonald’s when I was 16. It is about the bottom of the barrel for jobs lol. There’s a reason they hire literally anyone and everyone they can.

They certainly do NOT hire everyone they can.

I've worked at a facility for kids with a variety of neurological and psychological issues. Their hiring process was uniquely different. Their interview days were done with groups of applicants, who were given a tour of the facility. That way people could actually see what they were getting themselves into. At the end everyone was offered a job, pending a background check and drug test. It was up to the applicants to say no. They literally did hire everyone they could. They did, because it's impossible to tell in advance who would last more than 2 weeks working with those kids.

Again your imagination fails. You can't even conceive what it might actually be like when a company actually hires everyone they can.

We had two guys with Down syndrome, an active crack head that would run out and smoke crack behind the dumpster during shift, a bunch of teenagers, and an 80 year old. And that was just my shift. McDonald’s literally hires anyone they legally are allowed to.
