Can I change my phone from regular Android to LineageOS using root, without a PC? (lemmy.world)

I’ve had this question for a while, but I don’t really understand this stuff. I’m afraid of messing something up and ending up with a phone that won’t turn on anymore.

part of the process is formatting your SD card and putting lineageos on it. I don't think that's possible with just your phone. maybe if you had two SD slots.
