    Of course, if ICE actually wore some standardized uniform with identification, then sure, impersonating a federal officer.

    But since ICE is generic whatever tacticool, seems it's too easy to 'accidentally' impersonate and it's unfair to accuse someone of impersonating.

    Of course 'unfair' is their whole strategy anyway.

    Virginia passed a law to require them to wear unique ID and not wear masks unless there was a medical reason that made it necessary. The federal government took them to court and it's currently suspended due to a judge approving an injunction.
