I consciously check labels (plus a bit more) and eschew anything that has ties to an American company. I removed myself from American corporate media services. I don't use American banking services: no credit cards, for example. And I drink enough hard liquor (non-American, natch! ... no bourbon!) to smash those brain cells that have any memory of once having admired the USA.

    So i get from your answer that to you politics is an act of consumption: you don't consume the bad american stuff and that brings you a semblance of piece of mind, do you apply this attitude to all aspects of your life? If there is a fire on your neighborhood you shut the blinds and avoid the concept of fire? If you get sick you ignore the illness and remove your attention from media that display disease?

    I don't give money to people who are attacking my people. That is, yes, an act expressed through consumption. You'd prefer I go hunting Americans with a shotgun or something?

    Your parallels are utterly idiotic; you are equating choices made by people—who have agency—to fires and diseases which do not. To paraphrase a famous movie clip, we are all dumber for having heard you express this foolishness. Go peddle whatever incoherent shit you're peddling elsewhere. Ideally, perhaps, in a rubber room.
