Isn't that the same US state where the girl knew she was going to be beaten, so she set up a hidden camera, and recorded her parents seeming to take joy in beating her... because she listened to secular (i.e. non-religious) music on the family computer? Like the dad got tired of beating her so he let her mother have a turn and she gladly took the belt or whatever he was whipping her with. And the video was posted online and it kinda went viral, but because he was a judge or a lawyer or rich or something, he didn't get charged.

So it sounds like if you lived in Texas and you killed someone, you could claim they didn't like the president and you'd get away with it?
