I was thinking that publishing some of the handwritten notes (or as many of them as possible) might help. For me, that would be enough evidence to indicate that a writer wasn't lazy and came up with these ideas on their own - assuming the writing itself doesn't have any obvious AI tropes in.

But I feel like there are other ways, and I'm curious what ideas everyone else has

I just think the idea that someone rewrote chatgpt stuff by hand is proof enough that they're putting the effort in: either they're insane enough to copy it out and waste all that time reproducing slop (in which case you can probably identify it from analysing the text) OR they didn't, hence why they evidenced their handwritten workflow.
