Nothing will stop unless advertisers are prevented from indoctrinating people to believe they are entitled to such things as vehicles and other mass produced goods. Humans are not naturally mass consumers like this, we are being taught, from a very young age, to treat the earth like a dumpster.

    In Toronto, Doug Ford is about to rip out bike lanes in a misguided attempt to improve traffic congestion. There is currently no evidence that the bike lanes made traffic worse and there is strong evidence that induced demand will return traffic congestion to pre-bike lane removal levels fairly quickly. Advertising preys on stupidity, but we’ve also got a stupidity problem.
