Tariffs aren't just Trump's obsession, they're a core part of Project 2025's economic plan, so any R president/congress is going to keep throwing up tariffs.

Of course, tariffs aren't actually helping American workers, because they're effectively a hidden sales tax, while the R's block labor reforms, such as increasing mimumum wage, destroying unions, etc. as they have done for decades.
