As useful as LLMs are, I have always been skeptical of hype. It makes it really difficult to separate actual facts from all the hype. When you claim that a technology can do everything, built on stolen data and exploits the poor, I question the industry and it's optics that says we will hype now and apologize later. That should not how institutions or corporations should operate. On hype and flimsy excuses.
