I didn't bother checking the file size on internet archive and fired up the torrent. My first problem was qbittorrent crashed. So I restarted it, odd. Then the torrent stalled. Odd again. Then I couldn't close the file explorer of the thumb drive. Odd big time. Then I tried to restart and got stuck on the lenovo loading screen until I manually pulled out the drive, then windows booted fine. To double check I restarted again and fine, 30 second restart and boot like normal.

Y'know if I actually paid attention to what I'm doing, I would have seen the download was 500gb and not guessing "oh it must be under 128gb so it will fit fine on my drive". UGH. I'm scared to plug the drive in now for fear it might brick my thinkpad again.
