These cameras collect data on millions of vehicles—regardless of whether the driver is suspected of a crime. That appears to be true. The old timers don't know what it is generally, even the old lefties that stay somewhat informed. But after a lifetime of watching things go to shit I can't say I blame them for tuning shit out at this point.
