After more than a year of getting the cold shoulder from Canada, the American booze industry is feeling the heat. Exports of booze from the US to Canada were less than half in 2025 than they were a year earlier.

There's a small producer here in Montreal that makes a smoked whisky that I'm a fan of though it's nothing fancy.
