All of that being said, I can imagine that there could be some utility in operating a rover prototype in the lab or in a sandbox via a gaming device like this. It would have some advantages over a laptop, assuming the wireless connection is solid and latency is low.

Provided the Steam Deck is in the same room as the rover, not 200 million km away.
