this "editor" is probably a electron app that shows you a web app, or some other web based thingz so every vendor connected to that button is collecting data all the same like every other website

    That's clearly not a social share button depicted in the drawing. It's an os / custom sharing button. Not to mention social share buttons don't necessarily load from the shared platform's own website, run javascript or track you across browsers.

    Share buttons exist because people use them.

    It sounds like you're both talking past each other re: is it the "share on Facebook" tracking thing, or the smartphone "share" button that is just how you export a file these days.
