that makes sense. i kind of have the same viewpoint as a european, but i think it would be hard to get the average joe to move over if they're similar in data collection policies.
i don't know what the average viewpoint is but what i hear often is that people here often think of china and usa as similar "devils" (note: i don't agree with this, i think china is a lot better). people are like "these massive countries are the same shit in a different package. america, china, both bad".
so with that said, i think a lot of people would have issues moving over because they're already used to youtube and everyone's there anyway.
