If you're reading the same book series I am, you can probably guess at this point that I'm reading it as well. If the phrases "Goddammit Donut" and "Mongo is appalled" make you laugh (or at least smile), and you've reached a certain point, you know that Princess Donut's favourite song is Wonderwall. If you haven't reached that point — I think they mention it in the third book, but it comes back a couple more times after that — it's not really a huge spoiler.
If you're not sure what I'm talking about at all, it's a book series called Dungeon Crawler Carl. Aliens invade, and anyone who is indoors or covered by anything but bare open sky is immediately crushed, even if they were in a cardboard box. Basically, all "structures" are "flattened". And thousands of doors open leading to an interdimensional dungeon. So the book is kind of like a video game... but it's a book. Almost like how Ready Player One was, though a better example is Sword Art Online, or, really, any isekai, which is Japanese for "another world" (as in, you're stuck there until certain conditions are met).
As for Wonderwall, this song was all over the radio and MTV in the 1990s. And you either loved it or hated it. You can guess, from its inclusion here, which camp I fell into. But, if you were to ask me directly, well...
