Why do you think that? Last I heard these Arm laptops have all sorts of problems, and they apparently also have boot lockers.

Because Snapdragon ARM chips require specialized upstream kernel support, device trees, and signed drivers for components like the Adreno GPU and Wi-Fi, out-of-the-box mainline Linux compatibility for this specific entry-tier ARM platform is currently experimental and incomplete.
