I mentioned to my mum that I physically can't drive at night anymore, with my astigmatism and night blindness. If there's a single suv in my rear vision I cannot see clearly to safely merge if I need to.

So now because of these conditions, I drive exclusively during daylight hours and try to get home well before dusk

She asked when I last got my eyes/glasses prescription checked

I'm in a similar boat for eye stuff - and god forbid it's raining at night too. Or if it's not people with too bright of lights poorly-aimed; it's people driving a dark colored vehicle in low light conditions with no lights on. I despise how much of participating in society is dependent is driving in burgerland.
