Having a win doesn’t mean you’re done fighting forever. That is called winning the war.
Shitting on every win sure does a great job of discouraging future action, though.

This looks like an archived link to the front page of Gizmodo? I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be seeing here.
"Okay we won this battle but the war isn't over and the enemy is going to immediately react to this victory by attacking elsewhere."
"OMG CAN'T YOU JUST TAKE A WIN"
If you're done fighting then go sit down honey. But do it quietly please. There's a war on.
‘This is fake and you accomplished nothing’ is definitely a great way to get people to engage meaningfully and long term, I totally agree.
Characterizing it that way feels like you just want an excuse to stick your head in the sand and stop fighting. If you're fighting to feel good about winning, go join the other side and feel good about winning while losing as much as you like. But this literally is not a final real victory and should not be celebrated until we've actually won. You're being whiny and petty about serious shit. This discussion is over.
They literally said to treat this as winning one battle in a war but to keep fighting, and you tell them they want to stop fighting.
❌ “Yeah they’re given their contract to an other company” <- this is defeatist and invites doing nothing
✅ ‘This is great, we can build on this momentum and pursue the city council to make sure no other companies get a contract to do the same thing!’ <- recognizes the win, gives direction for more action
If you want to actually know what position I hold about something you can ask instead of making things up about what you assume I must think because I… disapprove of using an explicitly uplifting community to shit on a genuine accomplishment. Please get some perspective.
"Okay, we won this battle, wherein the enemy was utilizing XYZ part of the kit, openly and brazenly with the combined power of State and Private Company engaging in a free for all orgy over all of our interests at broad scale.
They are going to react to this by attacking elsewhere immediately. Their mission goals haven't changed and neither have ours. They will temporarily operate at a reduced capacity as they are moving to operating with ABC kit, which features 123 differing functions that we exploit via..."
Comrade, C'mon. This shit is already difficult enough without emulating the thought termination, dissonance, and disunity fostering traits that are part of the payload of kits XYZ and ABC.
Praxis and theory are not the items in discussion here. That is for academics. But the parallels are the same between strategy and tactics.
You mean traits like telling everyone "good job, take five" when they didn't do anything and we're all still in terrible danger?
How bout no.
I'm sure you read what I wrote, but I'm not sure you did anything with the sounds the words were meant to represent.
You do you.
I'd appreciate it if you make sure you're somehow recognizable when you make your move, so me and mine know whatever you're cooking comes with your same short-sighted rhetoric.
Don’t listen to this user. they also believe that Hasan Piker shocked his dog.
You idolized an abusive grifter. Get over it.
And you fell for propaganda. Wake up.
