    I'm just tired. Maybe it's not the best way of expressing it but the level of denying is hard to understand and quite unnerving. How could someone look at my graph and be happy?

    No one thinks everything is fine.

    But there is a big difference between "renewables won't replace fossil fuels" and "renewables are replacing fossil fuels too slowly"! One is impossible to fix, the other one is only really hard. So let's not talk it worse than it is. We have the technology to fix this! Now we have to deal with human nature and capitalism – that is hard enough.

    Username checks out. They won't soon enough because they did not. It's already too late. What we need now is to open our eyes and strengthen our communities to survive the collapse that already begun.

    Every tenth of a degree makes it worse. Even if you think it is 'too late', it is still worth fighting to decarbonize as fast as possible, to not fuck us even more. There is no buckling down in small communities, if the climate and biodiversity collapse. If you want also prep do so, but don't stop fighting the sources of climate change. And don't tell others not to fight!
