pls, everyone, be nice to new users. don't just remove their first post for being "off topic". we're already having a problem of not getting enough new users (link)
PieFed has a feature that lets admins move posts. If My instance federated lemmy.ml, I'd undelete that post right now and move it to a better community for the topic, like maybe !soulism@multiverse.soulism.net or !storytime@multiverse.soulism.net, and greet the user there. I think moving the post is the right solution here.
