Depends on the speed you are driving.

Texas has cows. Not as many as pop culture might suggest, but a lot.

Texas also has lots and lots of country roads with 60miles per hour speed limits. That's nearly 100 kph in euros.

If it's night and a cow is on the road you might not have time to react. The cow certainly doesn't have time.
