What's interesting is that the GtS account displays the entire text of the article, while the Mastodon account only shows the preview and a link...

You can also follow the same account from PieFed, but currently there's nothing that comes up.

Protecting children from accidentally seeing anything slightly sexy is naturally the top priority. That's what is harmful to minors. We better all stick to legally safe things like racism-based disinformation.

... but yeah, the designers of mastodon deliberately chose to avoid posts any longer than very short.

Vanilla Mastodon will totally display long posts though. You just can't create them.
