Best theory I've seen is undeveloped foreskin is a birth defect that is a lot more common with inbreeding. Ancient Egypt started doing circumcision in the upper class at a time when their royals were very inbred, so it's like how Europeans all started wearing wigs because France had a bald king.
Interesting. Thanks. It seems we're still doing this today as well with our ruling class and catering to their insecurities.
