What is the best open source sleep tracking solution? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I have been trying to find information about which GadgetBridge compatible devices have the best sleep tracking capabilities. I have looked into Garmin watches and Amazfit wearables but The Quantified Scientist ranks these well behind Apple, Pixel, and Oura wearables which are proprietary and not compatible with GadgetBridge.

Has anyone had success tracking sleep accurately with GadgetBridge compatible devices?

That is a fair point it's hard to make an informed purchase in this environment.
