Like if I knocked you out or found you passed out drunk then used a laser to burn the phrase 'mostly harmless' into your genitals in a way that would leave a life long scar, I'd get quite a kick out of it, and it has so many layers of meaning in reference to a shitty mess of a book I read a bunch as a kid. Real talk though, I do agree that any religion that requires the mutilation of any part of a child, let alone their genitals is ass backwards and shouldn't exist, failing that, should be entirely voluntary only performed after the child has grown into an adult that can make their own decisions
