There's people who go to war for the college degree or the debt relief or the career advancement. And a lot of them bounce as soon as the checks clear.

There's also people who go to war because its a place where you can go out and get roided up and coke-brained and commit atrocities and be rewarded for it. They tend to stick around, then hop into the private sector to keep the good times rolling.
