Hi guys,

There is some disk maintenance taking place for the next few days at our hosting provider Hetzner, and they say disk performance could be less than normal but remain operational.

It will affect our images only if it affects anything at all. So if you notice slow images, its temporary for the coming two days only. Probably we dont notice it but wanted to give a heads up. :)

Maybe y'all might want to reconsider Hetzner, since they censor pretty badly. There were Nostr relays using Hetzner, AWS, and Cloudflare, all of which were censored not by the relay owners.

    We have been on hetzner for years at this point and had no problems. Not sure what content would be censored here. Its just memes and discussions.

    That's just what I heard on the Nostr side of things. Nostr users want freedom, liberty, true free speech (not the philosophically dark Enlightenment version that brings about "hate speech" and "Antisemitism" laws), and a place to gather after being deplatformed from major platforms, no matter one's political stance.

    Hetzner doesn't like that idea of what Nostr users do (even though it's perfectly lawful under English Common Law, which I think Nostr tends to be under).
