I will be heading off to fight the morally grey fight as an Oathbreaker paladin in the service of Kelemvor this afternoon. I believe that we are going to steal a boat, sink that boat, get mad about not having a boat, steal another boat, and then set out on our adventure.

During the night we were visited by a group of Goblins delivering a message to our Warlock on behalf of Queen Titania of the Fey. Went to the Feywild to meet with her and learned all the classic rules, don't give them your name, etc. Acquired (supposedly) the Book of Exalted Deeds in exchange for protecting our guides from a group of Worgs and Dire Worgs, though we are skeptical that it is what it seems to be, although Identify does seem to have confirmed it as authentic.

Protecting someone from dogs seems like a low price to acquire the Book of Exalted Deeds. I think that you're right to be skeptical.
