I don't see why anyone would buy this, there are brands far more reputable for making ebikes or are more promising. Personally im waiting on reviews for Lynq, I think they could become the most polished ebike brand.

    I'd be interested in your perspective because from a European standpoint, there seems to be nothing special about these bikes but I could be wrong.

    All reputable brands in Europe, from the low-end Chinese-made Decathlon or Nakamura to the higher-end and/or Made in Europe like Gazelle, Kalkhoff or Riese&Müller have models they fit the same form factors and niches.

    Almost certainly but I wouldn't know since most ebike review channels are American. I specified Lynq because they are special due to their own controller and the level of quality they produce in their Apollo scooters (which I don't know will transfer over to their yet to be reviewed ebike brand).

    At this moment Apollo (and thus Lynq) doesn't ship to the EU or UK, they're primarily a Canadian company that also ships to the US and Australia.

    I'd be wary of proprietary tech in this context. For reference, most Euro brands use standard components (Bosch batteries, controllers and motors, Shimano shifters or hub gears etc...) which make them both easier to compare for value and maintainable and repairable in almost any shop. The last thing we need in the bike space is a dealer maintenance exclusivity.

    Realistically it's a add-on for price negotiations at the dealership when buying a car

    Yeah that price is about 5 grand higher than it should be

    How about we knock off a grand and throw in this sick ebike?

    Deal!

    (Dealership just sold a $1500 ebike for $4k)
