Just wanted to note there was no learning I had to do with the one I bought. I shave exactly like I used to with the multi blades. And it wasn't fancy or anything, just picked the cheapest one off amazon or whatever.

I only say this because I thought about switching for a long time before I did because the shaving posts on reddit made it seem like an almost mystical process with a high skill floor, but I shouldn't have been worried

    For learning, a word of caution to others: your facial hair and skin sensitivity is going to impact this. If you've always been shaving with a mechanical or just throw the Gillette around without caring much and expect a safety razor to act the same way, you might be in for a nasty surprise.

    Learning isn't hard for this, though. Just pay attention to a YouTube video or 2 and you should be good to go.
