I learned that fact when I stumbled upon a den in my backyard. The mom bolted and left the babies there. I kept an eye on it, hoping the mom would come back, but when I checked again the next day they were all gone. I checked to see if the babies grow up fast enough to actually leave that quickly, and this is what I learned. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] Pieisawesome@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 month ago I grew up on a farm and we had rabbits. From what Iโve seen, there is some evidence when this happens. Maybe a predator or their mother carried them off permalink fedilink source parent
